Everything You Need to Know
Wondering about reservations, parking, the menu, Afternoon Tea, or bringing the whole gang along? We’ve rounded up the things we get asked most, so you can spend less time wondering and more time planning your visit to The Last Queen. Choose a category below to jump straight to the answers you’re looking for.
Hours, Reservations & Seating
What are your hours?
Tuesday & Wednesday – 4-9pm
Thursday – 11am-1:30pm & 4-9pm
Friday – 11am-1:30pm & 4-10pm
Saturday – 9:30am-10pm (breakfast served 9:30-11:30am)
Sunday – 9:30am-2pm (breakfast served 9:30-11:30am)
Do you take reservations?
In true British pub fashion, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis and don’t take reservations at this time. Just walk in, find a seat (or be seated by our team if we are busy and have a waitlist), and make yourself at home!
Can I seat myself?
Most of the time, yes! If there are open tables, come on in and make yourselves at home. However, we ask smaller parties to leave the larger tables for bigger groups. When we’re busy, we may run a waitlist. If on a waitlist, hang tight and our staff will seat you as soon as possible.
Can I sit at the bar?
Yes! If there are open stools at the bar, you are welcome to take a seat and enjoy!
How does ordering work at The Last Queen? Is there table service?
Sort of! Just like a pub in England, you’ll grab a seat, browse the menu, and when you’re ready, head to the bar to place your order. From there, we take care of the rest – we’ll bring your food and drinks out and check on you throughout your visit. When you’re finished, just settle your tab at the bar. First time? Don’t be shy! Our staff love walking newcomers through it. You’ll be ordering like a local in no time!
Family & Pets
Is TLQ child-friendly?
Absolutely! The Last Queen is a family-run pub, and families are always welcome. Bring the kids along; we’ve got a few items on the menu for them!
Do you allow pets on the patio?
Of course! A proper British pub wouldn’t be complete without a dog dozing under a table. Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome on the patio anytime.
Do you have a kids' menu?
We have a few kid-friendly options right on our menu, plus some smaller bites that work well for little appetites. Ask our staff for recommendations, they’re happy to point you toward the crowd-pleasers.
Menu & Dietary
Can I order take-out or delivery?
We offer take-out – order online or give us a ring and we’ll have it hot and ready! No delivery just yet, but we’ll let you know if that changes.
Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free options?
We have several vegetarian options, and they’re marked right on the menu, along with a few gluten-free choices. If you have questions about ingredients or a specific dietary need, just ask any of our staff – we’re happy to help you find something you’ll love.
What's on tap?
Our four regulars are Old Speckled Hen, Belhaven Scottish Ale, Guinness, and Elizabeth My Dear – an Extra Special Bitter brewed just for us by a local brewery when we could no longer source Fuller’s ESB. (We think Her Majesty would approve.) Everything else rotates, so there’s always something new to try. Check the chalkboard when you’re in, or follow our socials for new arrivals!
Parking & Accessibility
Where do I park?
Great question, and one we hear often! We’re tucked between two other buildings, so on-site parking is limited to a few spots out front and a few more along the side. But don’t worry: there’s ample parking across the street, next to and around the double-decker bus, plus a full lot across the street beside Travis’ Barber Shop, directly across from Speedway on Main Street. For a visual, check out our parking map [link].
Is the pub and patio wheel-chair accessible?
Yes! The pub and patio are all wheelchair accessible. The front entrance is the easiest way in, but both entrances work.
Do you have ADA accessible restrooms?
Yes!
Events & Private Dining
Can I book the space for a private event?
We do! Birthdays, showers, anniversaries, and retirement parties, we’ve hosted them all. However, given our size, private events are usually booked outside our regular public hours. Get in touch [link] and we’ll see what we can work out! Looking forward to it!
Do you cater for events or parties?
We do! TLQ caters events beyond our four walls – send us your needs and ideas, and we’ll work with you to see what we can put together. Whether it’s a party spread or pub favorites for a crowd, we’d love to hear what you’re planning.
Do you host live music, trivia or other events?
We don’t host live music or trivia – at TLQ, good conversation is the entertainment, just like a proper British pub. But we’re far from quiet: we show Premier League matches, host watch parties for big tournaments like the World Cup, and run special events like Sunday Roast dinners, Bourbon Nights, and wine tastings. Follow us on social media to see what’s coming up!
Can I bring in my own birthday cake for a birthday celebration?
Of course you can!
What's the largest party size you can accommodate?
It depends on how busy we are! Our largest table seats 10-12 on its own, and we can often put tables together for bigger groups. Just know that parties larger than 12-15 may have a longer wait, especially on busy nights. Since we don’t take reservations, we recommend larger groups arrive early if possible, or if it’s a special occasion, ask us about a private event booking. Thank you!
Gift Cards & Payment
Do you sell gift cards or gift certificates?
Yes! You can pick up a gift card in person at the pub, or order one online – just click the ‘Gift Card’ link at the top of our site. A pint and a proper meal make a lovely gift, if we do say so ourselves.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We take cash, credit and debit cards, and mobile payments like Apple Pay. And remember, in true British pub style, you order at the bar and settle your tab at the end.
Afternoon Tea
What is Afternoon Tea?
A cherished English tradition! Afternoon Tea means proper British tea (milk and sugar as you like), fresh-baked scones with cream and jam, finger sandwiches, and a tier of sweet treats. It’s a slow, relaxed hour or so, and one of our favorite things to host.
When are the Afternoon Teas?
We host Afternoon Tea on the fourth Sunday of each month, 3:30–5:00pm. Unlike the rest of the pub, the teas requires a reservation – seats are limited, so book ahead using the Afternoon Tea link at the top of our site.
How much does it cost?
Afternoon Tea is $35 per person (plus tax), which includes endless cups of tea, scones with cream and jam, finger sandwiches, and the full tier of sweets, all served with proper tea sets. Come hungry!
Can I book a private Afternoon Tea?
Yes! Private teas are available for groups of 20 or more. Contact us and we’ll find a time that works for both of us, although we’ve noticed Sundays tend to work best. It’s a lovely way to celebrate a shower, birthday, or any excuse for scones.

Parking Clues & Local Notes
You can find ample parking – either in front of the building, beside the building, across the street near the giant red double decker bus or we have an overflow parking lot (car park as they say in England) across the street at 103 E Main Street, next to Travis’ Barber Shop and directly across from Speedway – only a 1 minute walk! As a side note, TLQ building is attached to a house that isn’t ours. Please refrain from parking in any spaces marked ‘Tenants Only’. Thank you!

A +, no notes! Absolute diamond in the rough! The ambiance sets the tone. You could actually be in a pub on the East End. As for the food, words like authentic and yummy come to mind. The fish and chips were awesome. Hand-cut chips (fries) and a piece of beer-battered cod bigger than the plate was main character delicious. And the homemade potato leek soup was to die for. The attention to detail went as far as house made tartar sauce! Way to go, The Last Queen! Well done you!

After growing up in England for 24 years I feel like I’m well qualified to leave this review. 16 years living in America and this is by far the BEST English style pub I have been to. When we turned up we knew it was going to be good just by how busy the place was. The atmosphere was fun, the staff attentive and the food was excellent. The Last Queen is simply fantastic and a must try. Their English style menu is well thought out and they maintain high quality standards. Standout selections for us was the sausage roll, fish and chips, steak and ale pie, and finish it off with a sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be returning.

If you like the atmosphere of an English pub, then you’ll love the Last Queen. I loved the Full English Breakfast I had today, and previous experiences with the dinner menu did not disappoint. Let’s not forget the staff, who work hard to provide great service.

Most people were ordering the fish and chips, everyone at my table did the same. You get a lot of food on your plate and apart from the great taste the food is served very hot. I have now been here 3 times and today I tried the shepherds pie. It looked and tasted great. I think next time I will try the bangers and mash.

Second time eating at The Last Queen in Enon, OH. On the first visit I ordered the Fish and chips, which was outstanding! A definite must-order! This time I ordered the Chuggy Burger which was also delicious. BTW, this restaurant has the best “chips” (fries) ever!! My boyfriend always gets the grilled cheese sandwich, which is his favorite go to. I love this small British Pub. It is a unique experience and the food and employees are always friendly. The owner was quite involved and was interacting with the patrons. Upon leaving, he thanked us for coming. I recommend you go and it will be one of your favorite restaurants too!!

The Last Queen is an excellent, authentic English Pub located in a well restored and remodeled building in the center of Enon, Ohio, basically one of the last places you’d believe would have been fortunate enough that the owners dropped their flag here.
Great menu, excellent bar, Guinness on tap, friendly, professional staff and clean.
Lovely outdoor area, even on cold and windy days. They’ve done an incredible job of creating a little oasis for their patrons!
